Una fuga ad alta tensione si è verificata questa mattina all’ospedale San Paolo di Milano, quando un detenuto extracomunitario è riuscito a scappare lanciandosi dalla finestra del secondo piano. Nel tentativo di fermarlo, l’Agente di Polizia Penitenziaria che lo sorvegliava ha compiuto un gesto eroico, ma a caro prezzo: è finito in coma dopo una caduta che lo ha gravemente ferito.
La vicenda ha avuto inizio mercoledì sera, quando il detenuto, un uomo di 38 anni di origine palestinese, è stato trasportato all’Ospedale San Paolo per ricevere cure mediche a seguito di ferite riportate in una rissa avvenuta nel Carcere di San Vittore. Purtroppo, durante le prime ore del mattino di oggi, il detenuto ha deciso di tentare la fuga lanciandosi dalla finestra del reparto in cui era ricoverato.
L’Agente di Polizia Penitenziaria che aveva l’incarico di sorvegliare il detenuto ha reagito prontamente e si è lanciato anch’esso dalla stessa finestra nel tentativo di fermare l’evasione. Purtroppo, il Poliziotto ha sbattuto la testa durante la caduta ed è stato trasportato d’urgenza presso un altro Ospedale, il San Raffaele, dove è stato sottoposto a un intervento chirurgico in condizioni gravissime.
